I’m Maja Ferle, expert in everything data: data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, big data and data architecture. My mission is to deal with data that is coming from all directions and use it to provide actionable insights as well as teach others how to do so.
Here I share my experiences and viewpoints on implementing data solutions using state of the art architectures, approaches, methodologies and technologies. Topics I cover include everything data: data management, data modeling, data architecture, big data, data governance, business intelligence, data warehousing and analytics.
As a consultant, I am accountable for delivering solutions that meet requirements, budget constraints and time frames. I am often frustrated with how long it takes to implement even the simplest solutions in real world situations. That is why I embrace agile as a way to deliver quickly and efficiently and I occasionally write about agile methodologies such as Scrum.
I have written hundreds of magazine articles on the above topics and I often speak at conferences and events. I hold a M.Sc. degree in computer science and business intelligence and several professional certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Practitioner (PMI-ACP), ScrumMaster, Scrum Professional and SAFe Practitioner.
